How to Vote

Registering to vote

Before you can vote, you must register. If you have not received your Poll Card for the by-election on 12 March 2020, you may not be registered.

Voting

You may vote in person at your local polling station (indicated on you Poll card) or you may submit a postal vote. Polling stations for the Welford on Avon by-election on 12 March 2020 are confirmed as:

  • The Jubilee Hall, Clifford Chambers
  • Welford and Weston Memorial Hall, Welford-on-Avon
  • Long Marston Village Hall, Long Marston
  • Meon Vale Village Hall, Bailey Avenue, Meon Vale, Stratford- upon-Avon
  • Luddington Village Hall, Luddington

To vote by post you must apply to Stratford on Avon District Council by 5pm on 26 Feb 2020 (11 working days before 12 March 2020). You can apply using the form from the electoral commission website at electoralcommission.org.uk/sites/default/files/2019-09/Postal-vote-application-form.pdf.
